Boningtons are pleased to be holding two significant sales on Monday 24th June. The day will commence with a fortnightly Interiors Sale which includes the usual fine selection of jewellery, silver, coins, pictures, furniture, ceramics, works of art and much more, not least a notable single collection of clocks.
The afternoon will then see Boningtons hold one of its eagerly awaited Toy Sales (from Lot 501) containing premium examples of a variety of collectable toys including boxed Dinky & Corgi examples, rare Britain’s figures (including a boxed Railton New Wonder Car, pictured), Hornby etc,
We are also pleased to report a hugely successful sale of Fine Art & Antiques which took place on Wednesday 12th June The auction saw a wealth of exciting antiques go under the hammer with some significant results across a wide range of specialist fields. Highlights (pictured) included an oil by Edward Seago which sold for £14000, a Lalique car mascot sold for £4400, a 17th century portrait of a lady sold for £5500, a Japanese Shibayama cabinet which realised £4800 and an 18th century clock by William Mills of London which made £3400.
