The Interiors and Toy Sale

The day will commence with a fortnightly Interiors Sale which includes the usual fine selection of jewellery, silver, coins, pictures, furniture, ceramics, works of art and much more, not least a notable single collection of clocks.

Carved wooden item for auctionThe afternoon will then see Boningtons hold one of its eagerly awaited Toy Sales (from Lot 501) containing premium examples of a variety of collectable toys including boxed Dinky & Corgi examples, rare Britain’s figures (including a boxed Railton New Wonder Car, pictured), Hornby etc,

We are also pleased to report a hugely successful sale of Fine Art & Antiques which took place on Wednesday 12th June The auction saw a wealth of exciting antiques go under the hammer with some significant results across a wide range of specialist fields. Highlights (pictured) included an oil by Edward Seago which sold for £14000, a Lalique car mascot sold for £4400, a 17th century portrait of a lady sold for £5500, a Japanese Shibayama cabinet which realised £4800 and an 18th century clock by William Mills of London which made £3400.

Old clock up for auctionIt won’t be long until the Boningtons’ next auction of premium antiques with the principle contents of the Old Court House, Waltham Abbey, set to go under the hammer on Monday 8th July.
