Glass bowl at auction

An Edwardian mahogany gentleman`s desk by Maple & Co (Lot 328, £200-300) is one of the principle offerings amongst a selection of good quality furniture, whilst the sale is brought to a fitting conclusion by ceramics & glassware which includes a boxed Lalique Verone crystal bowl (Lot 482, £350-450).

It was another lot of glassware, a pair of Bohemian glass portrait vases that proved to be the highlight of our last Interiors auction, generating significant pre-sale interest before selling to an internet bidder for £340. Not far behind was a beautiful watercolour by Jan van Couver, an artist from the well-known Koekkoek family of Dutch painters, which sold in the room for £320.
