Gavel at Auction

We are now open for viewing for our Interiors Sale on Monday 27th January. There are nearly 400 lots on offer including a diverse range of jewellery, clock & watches, silver, coins, pictures, ceramics, furniture and works of art.

Highlights include a stunning 18ct diamond crossover ring (Lot 42) and some fine designer furniture by Marston & Langinger (Lots 234 & 235). There is an excellent selection of silver including some early Georgian examples whilst a single private collection of clocks & watches adds to the strong selection of horological works on offer such as Lot 265, a French quarter repeater carriage clock with L`epee movement. Ceramics include a good amount of Moorcroft as well as a fine Wedgwood gold `Florentine` dinner service (Lot 348). There are also some notable pictures up for grabs by some well listed artists such as Fred Roe, Thomas Pyne, Victor Askew & Philip Richard Morris.

2014 got off to a bang at Boningtons with our sale on 13th January which saw some notable prices achieved by a variety of lots. The jewellery got the sale off to a flyer with £1700 being realised by an 18ct Cartier triple band gold bracelet set with diamonds to links whilst a pair of Tiffany diamond earrings made £650. Elsewhere there were some promising prices achieved by the furniture such as £460 for an oak breakfront bookcase by Titchmarsh & Godwin and £600 for a 19th century mahogany extending dining table. A 1950s Mills one-armed bandit in working order had attracted much attention during the view and duly was knocked down for £380.

We are now accepting final entries for forthcoming sale of Fine Art & Antiques on Wednesday 26th February. The sale already includes some outstanding pieces which look sure to attract international interest in the auction which will be marketed worldwide.
