We are now open for viewing for our forthcoming specialist Christmas Sale on Monday 15th December. If you are yet to start your Christmas shopping then do not fret – there are some extremely suitable festive gifts up for grabs amongst the 600+ lots on offer!

Platinum double diamond pendantOur Loughton saleroom is presently sparkling with an extensive selection of jewellery with prices ranging from £100 to £10,000 – the highlight of which is a stunning platinum double diamond pendant comprising of both a 1.69ct & a 2.65ct stone (Lot 63, estimate £7,000-10,000). Also on view are a dazzling yellow & white metal articulated sapphire & diamond set necklace (Lot 5A, £1,000-1,500) & an 18ct princess-cut diamond solitaire (Lot 172, £1,000-1,500), whilst amongst the watches an 18ct gold Omega automatic chronometer constellation wristwatch on an Omega 18ct gold strap (Lot 195, £2,000-2,500) is already attracting healthy international interest.

18ct princess-cut diamond solitaire ringSilver is also in abundance with some fine Georgian, Victorian & Edwardian examples filling our cabinets, including some quirky, novelty pieces that would make ideal stocking fillers! The selection of pictures is also exceptionally strong with everything from speculative Old Masters to Contemporary pieces gracing the saleroom walls. Highlights include a hand signed screen-print by graffiti artist ‘Pure Evil’ (Lot 358, £500-700), a watercolour depicting Cannes by Edward Henry Fahey (Lot 357, £300-500) & a selection of very fine watercolours by the lesser known but highly talented Leonard Gordon Andrews (Lots 332-337), the standout example being a vibrant depiction of St Ives (Lot 332).

18ct gold Omega automatic chronometer constellation wristwatchElsewhere, ceramics include a number of quality pieces of Moorcroft such as a ‘Buttercup’ pattern lamp base (Lot 488, £300-500), a large iron red Kangxi style dragon jar (Lot 499, £800-1,000) & an interesting 18th century majolica plate (Lot 476, £200-300). A collection of music boxes, memorabilia, books, stamps & toys complete the eclectic mix of lots that look sure to contribute to a cracking auction!
