The catalogue for our forthcoming Interiors sale on Monday 1st June is now available to view online. The auction contains the usual extensive offering of jewellery, silver, coins, clocks & watches, pictures, furniture, ceramics, works of art, toys, taxidermy and much more.
The sale looks set to get off to the flying start with some dazzling pieces of jewellery such as an 18ct multi-diamond stone eternity ring (Lot 13, £1,200-1,800). An 18ct gold diamond ring & necklace (Lots 41 & 42, £500-800) and an 18ct boxed Cartier tricoloured gold torque ring (Lot 43, £300-500).
There is also a healthy range of silver, coins & watches up for grabs whilst the pictures on offer are particularly strong with both antique and modern works well represented; these include paintings by some very well listed artists such as Wells Smith, James McBey, Frank Eggington, Graham Clarke, Robert Heindel, Kay Boyce, Richard Henry Wright, Lovis Corinth and Norman Manners, as well as plenty of good quality pieces by unidentified hands, not least plenty of Venetian views!
Ceramics are also in abundance and include some significant pieces, principally a Victorian Linthorpe pottery vase by Dr Christopher Dresser (Lot 387, £350-450), a pair of 19th century Kerr & Binns vases (Lot 407, £200-300) & a large Arts & Crafts pottery vase (Lot 372, £200-300). Other highlights include an inlaid double fusee bracket clock (Lot 254, £600-800) and a Webley Service air rifle Mk II (Lot 262, £500-800).
Our next Interiors sale is on Monday 15th June.
