Artwork and Christmas items for auction We are now open for viewing for our forthcoming Interiors sale on Monday 9th February. The auction contains over 450 lots of jewellery, silver, clocks & watches, pictures, furniture, ceramics, rugs, books, memorabilia, works of art & much more.

Watch for auctionThe sales will commence with some fine pieces of jewellery such as a 22ct diamond bracelet set with nine brilliant cut diamonds (Lot 45, £500-800) & an 18ct diamond trilogy ring (Lot 43, £600-800) and the selection of watches is even stronger which some exceptional pieces up for grabs including a vintage 9ct Omega on gold strap (Lot 74, £1000-1500), an 18ct Kutchinsky ladies wristwatch (Lot 18A, £400-600) & other examples by Omega, Tissot, Bulova & Jaeger Le Coultre.

Silver is also in abundance with everything from a sterling silver set of flags of the United Nations (Lot 100A, £800-1200) to an Indian silver tea set (Lot 127, £300-500) on view. The pictures are also well represented by some notable artists such as Cecil Aldin, Beryl Cook, John Brunsdon, Jonathan Shaw, Maurice Cockrill, Archibald Hartrick & Christopher Catlin, as well as a rare limited edition hand embellished giclee print, ‘Ali over Liston’, hand signed by Ali with a certificate of authenticity (Lot 193, £500-800).

Silver jewellery for auctionAlso likely to attract healthy interest are a good single private collection of rugs (Lots 279-289) and books including titles illustrated by Cecil Aldin, Kate Greenaway & Archibald Thorburn. Meanwhile the ceramics should ensure Monday’s auction is brought to a fitting conclusion with some extremely rare examples set to go under the hammer. These include a limited edition Lladro figure ‘Santa’s Midnight Ride’ (Lot 354, £600-800) & further Lladro examples ‘Allegory of the Sea’ (Lot 356, £200-300) & ‘Row of Ladies with Flowers’ (Lot 357, £300-400).

Flags of the united nations at auctionOur next auction will be our specialist sale of Fine Art & Antiques on Wednesday 25th February. The catalogue is now available to view on & with a number of lots already attracting International interest, the auction looks certain to be a cracker.
