Our vintage antique and collectables sale on 5th March will delight the book lovers amongst you, as it will incorporate an antiquarian and first edition book sale.
Antiquarian books, more so than probably any other types of antiques, give us such a tangible link with the past. The book itself is an antique which displays features from the period in history during which it was created, but it also contains a treasure of information that shows us how people felt, what opinions they had and how they viewed events and other people.
Both fictional book and those containing facts and information give us a glimpse into the minds of those who lived the history we read about and there is something very special about that.
