Paintings, Prints and Drawings
Boningtons are pleased to announce the appointment of Luke Bodalbhai as a specialist picture valuer.
Luke read History at the University of Bristol where his studies focussed upon the role of visual imagery in the European Reformation. Luke has significant experience as a researcher of old master and nineteenth century paintings and has a track record of successfully attributing many previously unknown works to notable artists. Boningtons therefore welcome consignments of paintings that may require further investigation and study which Luke is happy to undertake.
Boningtons’ fortnightly antique sales offer a wide range of affordable oils, watercolours, drawing and prints. Our specialist Fine Art auctions offer an extensive selection of significant pictures, including those by well-listed artists ranging from the 16th century to the present day.
For advice regarding pictures in any medium, please contact the saleroom where a specialist will be on hand. Alternatively, you are welcome to e-mail us with your enquiry.
If you are looking to purchase works of a specific period, subject or artist, please provide us with your details on our enquiry form and we will notify you via e-mail when such examples become available in our forthcoming sales.
