So how did it come to pass that this legendary creature became the most revered and respected icon of Chinese culture? Many can only speculate about the true origins of the very first Chinese dragon.
 
Valuation and Talk, by Dr Iside Carbone.

Asian Art specialist Dr Carbone has recently joined Boningtons.  she is an active member of the Asian Art scene in London, regularly giving gallery talks at the British Museum, based on the museum’s extensive Chinese collections.  Dr Carbone also teaches courses on various aspects of Chinese art as part of the World Arts and Artefacts programme at Birkbeck College.

The Asian Art market is particularly strong at the moment and there will be the opportunity to consign items into our Fine Art sale taking place in June.
