We were pleased to consign over the counter 2 Concerntina’s from separate sources found whilst clearing out relatives deceased estates. A Boningtons valuer decided they should be entered into a fortnightly Antiques and Collectables sale. The first instrument, a Chenal and Co. model in its original wooden box and in good order achieved £1,500* against an estimate of £300 to £500. The second Concertina was a Jeffries and Co, encased in leather and in excellent condition. This item sold on the telephone for £4,100* against an estimate of £500 to £800.
